The manifesto · 10 principles

Treat historic accomplishment not as an end in itself, but as a beginning for further contribution.
Honor the people who supported your success and recognize that major achievements are never made alone.
Accept public service and leadership as a duty that comes with extraordinary opportunity.
Stay loyal to the ideals and collective mission that gave your work purpose.
Value education, engineering knowledge, and technical competence as foundations for progress.
Use achievement as a way to inspire others, especially young people and women, to aim higher.
Represent your country and community with responsibility, professionalism, and pride.
Advance science, exploration, and human progress through courage and persistence.
Be prepared to work hard, endure discomfort, and overcome fear in order to achieve something meaningful.
Set ambitious goals and pursue them with discipline, even when they seem impossible.
